Is Main Haven assisted living?

No. Main Haven provides independent residential living for adults 55+. It is not an assisted-living, skilled-nursing, personal-care, or medical facility. Residents manage their personal and medical needs independently or through outside resources of their choosing.

Do you offer private rooms?

Private rooms may be available depending on current occupancy. Contact Main Haven for today’s availability.

Are shared rooms available?

Shared room opportunities may also be available. Availability can change, so prospective residents and referral partners are encouraged to contact us early.

Is the home furnished?

Yes. Main Haven is designed to provide comfortable furnished residential living. Ask about the furnishings in the room arrangement currently available.

Are utilities included?

Utilities, internet access, and in-home laundry access are included as part of the residential experience unless otherwise stated in the applicable residency agreement.

How much does Main Haven cost?

Contact us for current availability and program rates. Rates may vary by room arrangement, availability, and other applicable factors.

Who is Main Haven for?

Main Haven welcomes adults age 55+, including Veterans and nonveterans, who are appropriate for independent residential living and complete the screening and application process.

Does Main Haven provide personal care or medication assistance?

No. Main Haven does not provide nursing, medication administration, help with bathing, dressing, toileting or feeding, medical monitoring, or round-the-clock clinical supervision. Discuss any independently arranged outside support during screening.

Can a family member help with the process?

Yes. Family members can check availability and ask questions. Please have the prospective resident’s permission before sharing their information. The resident will need to participate in the application and review process.

Are Veterans welcome?

Yes. Qualified Veterans age 55+ are welcome. Main Haven is independent of the VA and does not guarantee benefits, transportation, or VA-funded housing.

Can I use benefits or housing assistance?

Residents may have Social Security, SSI, Veteran benefits, retirement income, or other support. Eligibility and payment arrangements vary by person and program. Ask us to discuss your funding plan; no particular program or direct-payment arrangement is guaranteed.

How do I refer someone?

Use the Referral Partner Referral Form pathway or call (706) 284-8881. If placement is time-sensitive, check availability before completing the referral.

Does applying or submitting a referral reserve a room?

No. Applications and referrals do not guarantee admission, placement, or a room reservation. All placements depend on review, applicable requirements, and current availability.

Is transportation included?

Transportation is not listed as a Main Haven service. Augusta Transit and VA transportation resources have their own routes, schedules, and eligibility requirements. Check directly with the provider before planning a trip.

Can I visit the residence?

Call Main Haven to discuss a visit and current availability before coming to the residence. Accessibility features and any specific housing needs should also be discussed directly.
